Travel   & Tourism Bazar kicks off in Shillong

SHILLONG:  The   winter travel exhibition of  Travel and Tourism Bazar,  2017  Shillong kicked off in Shillong on Tuesday. The three-day event   which will continue till November 17  was inaugurated by  Information and Technology Minister, Ampareen Lyngdoh in Shillong. 

Speaking on the occasion, she hoped that the festival would go a long way in promoting tourism in Meghalaya and in other North Eastern states. 

The festival is seeing the participation of major state   tourism departments like Gujarat,  Telangana, Meghalaya   Rajasthan and others. The participating states are exhibiting their tourism products at the Bazar
