SHILLONG: KHNAM will contest the upcoming Assembly elections from 10 to 15 constituencies, said the party’s working president Edelbert Nongrum on Saturday.
Nongrum said as a regional party, they are looking for good candidates.
He added that now it is only the Congress and KHNAM which are going to the polls alone whereas all other parties have either joined BJP or other political parties. Nongrum is confident that the party will emerge as an alternative for the people of the state.
