SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Drug Users’ Network (MDUN) are planning to hold a peaceful rally so that their right to treatment is not denied at Polo Bazaar on Friday.

In a statement issued here, the MDUN registered their protest to the alleged plans to shut down centers in Jowai and Ladrymbai which provides drug and HIV treatment/prevention services for drug users.

With the rally at Polo Bazaar, the protestors will move towards the office of Meghalaya AIDS Control Society (MACS), Pasteur Hills.
