Autopsy report awaited in Rynjah death case

SHILLONG: The police are awaiting the postmortem report of a woman who allegedly committed suicide inside a house in Rynjah on Saturday.
“We are waiting for the post mortem and other reports before we further act on the case,” the police said.
They added that the investigation is on whether it was a suicide or murder case. The police also said the family had removed the woman’s body from the position it was found and laid it on a bed. The matter was reported to the police by the woman’s husband and a case has been registered.
