Procession
A peaceful procession will be held on the occasion of Eid Milad Un Nabi at 9 am on Saturday. The procession will start from Mohammadia Al Hussaini Masjid, (Khan Masjid), Barapathar point and will culminate at Laitumkhrah Masjid, Fire Brigade.
Workshop
A two-day Hindi workshop will be organized by the Ministry of Culture, National Museum Institute, New Delhi at NEIGRIHMS, Shillong on Friday and Saturday. Extempore speech will be also be carried out during the workshop.
Shramdan
‘Shramdan’, was organised by NEIGRIHMS in collaboration with North Eastern Security Academy at the OPD foyer of NEIGRIHMS on Thursday. The programme was an initiative towards achieving highest standards of cleanliness in hospitals under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The director, deputy director (Admn), medical superintendent, faculty members, Staff of the Institute and Teiborlang Pathaw, Chairman of NESA along with his volunteers were present during the programme.
Blood donation
A blood donation camp was organised in collaboration with the NEIGRIHMS and Meghalaya AIS Control Society on the eve of BSF Day on Thursday. Around 48 personnel of the BSF donated blood on the occasion.
