New Delhi, Dec 1 (IANS) A Delhi Police constable died after being hit by a speeding truck while regulating traffic here, police said on Friday.
The accident occurred on Thursday night near the Splash Water Park in Alipur.
Ramphal, a resident of Bilan village in Sonepat in Haryana, was declared dead by hospital authorities. He was hit while regulating traffic, Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajneesh Gupta said. The truck driver, Biru Parsad Yadav, has been arrested.
