JOWAI: The JHADC winter session has not been summoned till date for unknown reasons. According to some MDCs, they expected the Chairman to summon the winter session between September and November but it has already lapsed for the legislative department to summon the winter session.
According to some JHADC members, the Autonomous District Council rules (AD Rules) has clearly stated that there should be regular sessions including the budget session, summer session and the winter session in every four months. The last session (summer session) was held during the month of July but till date failed to hold the winter session.
When tried to contact the JHADC Chairman over phone on this matter, he is not reachable.
