SHILLONG: Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Speaker, AT Mondal on Thursday released a book titled “PR Kyndiah- The early years” written by the Commissioner and Secretary, Meghalaya Legislative Assembly, Andrew Simons.
Speaking on the occasion, AT Mondal said that the book will inspire many young legislators and they would get an idea about the life of the tall leader from Meghalaya, PR Kyndiah, who was also the Union Minister.
Kyndiah, who retired from active politics in 2009 prior to the Lok Sabha polls, had served as the Union Tribal Affairs Minister and DoNER Minister in 2004 when Congress-led UPA was in power. Family members of Late PR Kyndiah, and staff of the Assembly were also present on the occasion.
