SHILLONG: The MeECL management has started negotiations with representatives of the MeECL Progressive Workers’ Union.
On Day 1 of the talks at Lumjingshai, the headquarters of MeECL, the management conceded to some of the important demands of the casual workers, said a TUR statement on Thursday.
Workers are going to be paid the wages as per the latest rates from December and pending arrears from 2015 will be released before Christmas.
