NONGSTOIN: The first-level checking of EVMs which began in West Khasi Hills district from December 14 will conclude on Saturday.
The three-day exercise is being conducted at Trysem Hall office of the deputy commissioner, Nongstoin.
The objective of the exercise is to acquaint government officials entrusted in the conduct of the Assembly elections with the EVMs and VVPAT machines.
