Meeting
The Meghalaya Upper Primary School Teachers Association, Ri-Bhoi District Unit, will hold its General Meeting on December 22 at Nepali UP School, Nongpoh by 10:30 am.The meeting will discuss various matters on how to strengthen the unit in the district. The state leaders will also give a clarification on MUPSTA’s function and resolution. It requests all teachers falling under this unit to attend the meeting.
Food fest
Meghandidni Mahila Samiti organised a food fest cum exhibition as a part of its annual activities on December 17 at St. Xavier’s Secondary School premises, Polo, Shillong.
Camp
The eight-day camp of All India NER trekking camp for NCC cadets concluded on Monday at ARPS, Laitkor. About 500 cadets from different parts of the country participated.
Birth anniv
Shillong Muslim Socio – Cultural & Educational Association Shillong commemorated the the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) by organising Queraat, Naat and Quiz Competitions at Jhalupara Cantonment Community Hall on December 10. Prizes were distributed at the same venue on December 17. The ceremony was presided over by Dr. M.R. Siddiqui and Mohendro Rapsang was the chief guest.
