Three died in separate accidents

Shillong: On December 16 around 4 pm, an accident took place between a 12-wheeler truck (NL-01N-4814) and a motorcycle ridden by Christolan Marbaniang (34) at Nongtraw Shillong Bypass Road in Ri Bhoi. As a result, the motorcycle rider died on the spot.
In another incident on December 15 around 9.30 pm, one truck (AS-14C-0705) turned turtle at Nongspung village in Ri Bhoi. As a result, two boys namely, Master Raj Jakwa (12 yrs) and an unidentified minor boy died on the spot.
In both the cases the driver and handyman of the trucks fled away. Necessary formalities were observed and the matter is under investigation.
