Naga youth group scales Mount Saramati

KOHIMA: A group of Naga youths and a team from the Assam Rifle (AR) have successfully scaled Mount Saramati, the highest peak of Nagaland at an altitude of 3840 m, after a gap of 30 years.

According to a release from the Inspector General of Assam Rifles (North) on Sunday, the team led by Major Ajay Balakrishna of AR with included 18 Naga boys and 11 Naga girls, scaled the highest peak in Nagaland, on December 14. (UNI)
