10 cops to receive medals from guv

SHILLONG: Ten police officers and constables will receive medals from the governor on the occasion of Meghalaya Day. As per the notification issued recently, the gazetted officers who will receive medals are West Garo Hills SP M G Raghavendra and South West Khasi Hills SP Herbert Lyngdoh.
Others are Inspector (CID) Bidhan Bhattacharjee, UB Inspector-Sadar Police Station Dharmendra Kumar Prasad, UBSI-South Garo Hills Silverius Kymdeit and ABSI-Police Training School John Candary Sangma along with Havildar Mangseng Sangma, head constable at Mawlai police station Erasmus D Thangkhiew, SF-10 Constable Jester A Sangma and leading fireman in Nongstoin Deepak Kharshiing.
