TURA: A 29-year-old man was fatally stabbed at Rajabala market in West Garo Hills on Monday night sparking public anger and demands for arrest of the accused who has since fled. The incident is said to be fall out of personal rivalry.

The victim Abdur Rahim Ali was in the market with another relative when they were attacked by the accused Abu Taher who stabbed both his victims. While Ali died from his wounds his relative Anarul Islam sustained grievous injuries and is currently in a critical state in a hospital in Hatsingimari town.
