Indian arrested in Bangladesh with contraband pills

Dhaka, Jan 23 (IANS) An Indian citizen has been arrested in Bangladesh for possessing contraband pills, police said.

Lithon Marak, 33, of Meghalaya was arrested on a tip off in the northern district of Netrokona on Monday, said Police Sub-Inspector Marufuzzaman, bdnews24.com reported on Tuesday.

Marak frequently sneaked into Bangladesh to sell the contraband yaba tablets, a police official said. A total of 182 tablets were found in his possession.
