London: Actress Alicia Silverstone has a unique gift suggestion for her fans this Christmas. She has urged them to gift animal sponsorship to their loved ones.
The Clueless star, who follows a vegan diet, is supporting an initiative by US-based farm animal protection organisation, Farm Sanctuary, to fund the security of various creatures, including pigs, goats and chickens, reports dailystar.co.uk.
In a post on her blog, she wrote: “For all the animal lovers among your friends and family, what’s a better gift than an animal adoption that lasts for the whole year? For families who live within driving distance of a sanctuary, an animal in need they can go visit anytime is a wonderful gift.”
