Theft
Aibullin Mylliem lodged a complaint that on October 11, 2017 around 1pm, her temporary driver Hermon Bamon stole her Maruti Van (ML-05L-7048). Later, the vehicle met with an accident at Moopala village in East Jaintia Hills.
On February 9 around 2am, seven or eight unidentified miscreants armed with daggers [in camouflage dress and civvies] broke inside the M/s Akbar company camp at a place under Gasuapara PS and and fled with Rs. 50,000 in cash and one cell-phone.
Eltin N Marak lodged a complaint that on February 7, unknown miscreants broke into his shop at Rongap Bazar in East Garo Hills, fled with Rs. 4,500 in cash and attempted to set the shop on fire.
Accident
On February 9 around 6pm, an STPS bus (ML-01-7393) driven by Ricky Dohkrut knocked down one pedestrian Pynshngain Kharsati (37) at Motphran, Shillong. The victim sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital.
