SHILLONG: The committee dealing with the common minimum programme of the Meghalaya Democratic Alliance (MDA) has completed its draft.
The chairman of the committee, Bindo Lanong, said on Sunday that the major points in the manifestos of all the political parties supporting the MDA government were incorporated in the draft.
“We have included all major departments in the draft which will be discussed by the MDA coordination committee”, Lanong said.
According to Lanong, the coordination committee will consist of leaders from all the political parties supporting the MDA government.
“We want to finalise the common minimum programme before the conclusion of the Assembly session so that the government can move forward with its programmes and policies”, Lanong said.
