SHILLONG: Meghalaya’s Minister for PWD, Prestone Tynsong assured Congress MLA from Nongpoh, Mayralborn Syiem, to complete the construction of 2 km internal road Pahamsyiem-Nongpoh town, within December 2018.
Tynsong said a female contractor, K. Lamare was reminded about the need for completion of the work and no penalty was contemplated after the contractor resumed the work. He informed the physical progress of the work was 75 per cent so far.
Earlier, Syiem raised a query on the delay of the road completion as the final work order issued on May 30, 2012.
