Man assaults wife, gets arrested

NONGSTOIN: A man identified as Anthony Marak was arrested by Nongstoin police after he assaulted his wife, Sellina N Sangma, on April 12. A staff nurse at Civil Hospital Nongstoin, filed an FIR against the husband after the victim, who sustained serious head injury, was brought to the hospital by her relatives. The police have registered a case against him for domestic violence.
