Trains cancelled due to Rail blockade

GUWAHATI: The authorities in the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) here informed that due to proposed rail blockade agitation by NCHISF (North Cachar Hills Indigenous Students Forum) over Dima – Hasao district of Assam on April 19, the following trains will remain cancelled or short terminated as under:

1. 55615 Guwahati – Silchar passenger scheduled to leave from Guwahati on 18.04.18 will remain cancelled between Guwahati and Silchar.
2. 55615 Silchar – Guwahati passenger scheduled to leave from Silchar on 19.04.18 will remain cancelled between Silchar and Guwahati.
3. 25657 Sealdah – Silchar Kanchanjungha Express arriving Guwahati on 19.04.2018 will be short terminated at Lumding and will remain cancelled between Lumding and Silchar. 25657 Kanchanjungha Express will additionally stop at Chaparmukh, Hojai, and Lanka stations to provide road connectivity to Haflong bound passenger.
4. 25658 Silchar – Sealdah Kanchanjungha Express of 20.04.2018 will start from Guwahati and will remain partially cancelled between Silchar and Guwahati.
