SHILLONG: The HSPDP Sohryngkham -Mawryngkneng & Shiliang Umkhen Area Unit decided to dissolve the party in the constituency after Ardent Basaiawmoit resigned from the post of president of the party as well as resignation of 10 close aides of Basaiawmoit.
In a statement to the Press, the HSPDP unit stated the decision was taken after a meeting held in protest to the “disorder” prevailing in the party.
The former members of the regional party condemned the action of the MLAs for defying the decision of the central executive committee of the party to not support the alliance government in the state that has BJP as a constituent.
