Video uploaded without permission
On May 4, Raju Eknath Gaikwad of Mawlai Mawroh, Umsohkhlur, Shillong lodged a complaint that some unknown persons uploaded videos of his wedding which was solemnized at the Presbyterian Church, Mawlai Mawroh, Shillong on September 14, 2017. The wording of the song on the video has greatly affected the couple and their family.

Ransacked
Bernard N Marak active partner of M/s GLR Pharmaceuticals, Tura (WGH) lodged a complaint that leaders of GSU, ADE, FKJGP, AYWO, viz., Tengsak, Pritam, Dalseng, Sengbath and some students from TGC came to M/s GLR Pharmaceuticals at Hawakhana, Tura ransacked the store, damaged the medicines, goods, took away computers, CCTV cameras, hard disks, etc., and attempted to kill Vivek Agarwal. The complaint stated that the pressure to pay ‘goonda tax’ to three NGOs was downplayed, so the store was targeted, took away Rs. 2 lakh meant for salary and goods valued around Rs. 10 to 12 lakh were burnt. The complaint further alleged that Lee Roger Ch Marak and Dilip Agarwal were instigating the NGOs against the said firm.

Accident
On May 4 around 10.30 am, a Maruti Wagon-R (AS-10A-8251) dashed against a truck (ML-10A-8784) at Nerbong junction (RB). As a result, the driver of the Wagon-R sustained injuries and was shifted to PHC Byrnihat. The matter is under enquiry.
On May 3 around 11.25 am, a Maruti Alto K10 (ML-10B-5785) driven by Ajay Syiemiong dashed against a stationary Mahindra Maxx (ML-06-8640) at Umktieh, Shillong Bypass (RB). As a result, drivers of both the vehicles sustained injuries and were shifted to CHC Bhoirymbong. The matter is under enquiry.
