SHILLONG: Making up for his failure to perform in the rock city scheduled for November last, Petra front-man John Schlitt has informed the music lovers of the state that he will be performing live this year on January 28.

Petra front-man John Schlitt will rock the city along with Michael Hill and the Divine Connection of Nagaland in what is billed as a ‘East meets West’ concert.

Schlitt was scheduled to perform in Shillong in November last year, but he could not make it because of the last minute hitch in visa clearance. He, however, said, “Guys we did not make it last year but will see you in January 28.”

The JAM ministry is organizing this concert that will feature Schlitt along with the Indian band.

Schlitt revealed that he is really excited about playing with the Divine Connection as he feels this combination of American-Indian music is an idea of national connection. He said, “This national connection, especially with India is really exciting.”

Divine Connection being one of the top bands in India have come into picture because the other band members of John Schlitt from the United States are not available this time due to their other commitments.

This time John Schlitt will perform live in concert with the Divine Connection on the January 28 at Polo 5th Ground from 3 pm onwards.
