Udhay Asthaa Harinam
Residents of Lumparing New Colony is organising Udhay Asthaa Harinam & Lila Sankirtana on May 12 and 13, at the Lumparing Puja Mandap. The programme will start at 6 pm on the first day and on Sunday the Mangal Arati will begin at 4 am. The distribution of prasadam will be from 1 pm to 5 pm.
Swachhta Abhiyan
Maha Swachhta Abhiyan has been organized by the 42 Meghalaya NCC from May 1 to 15. The programme is a curtain raiser to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. A cleaning drive and various programmes have been conducted and participate by the NCC cadets in the city.
