Global Day of Prayer being held in GH

 TURA: ‘Global Day of Prayer’ is being observed on Sunday in all five districts of Garo Hills to mark the Pentecost Day- the 50th day after Christ’s Resurection, where Christian faithful will come together and pray on global and national issues at different churches and other venues.

Coordinator of the programme’s organizing committee, Rev Frithing D Sangma informed that the Global Day of Prayer will be held from 3 pm at United Christian Association (UCA) Church in New Tura, from 2 pm at United Christian Association (UCA) Church, Pennuel, from 2:30 pm at Ramke Memorial Girls’ School in Baghmara, from 2 pm at Belpara Baptist Church in Resubelpara, also from 2 pm at Catholic Parish in Rongjeng and from 3 pm at Ampatigre Baptist Church in Ampati.

People belonging to the Christian Community in Garo Hills have been requested to participate in the prayer service.
