SHILLONG: Preparatory to the Meghalaya State Aquaculture Mission, the Department of Fisheries, Meghalaya is organizing a one day workshop on emerging entrepreneurial opportunities in Ornamental Fisheries here on January 10 at Hotel Polo Towers from 10am onwards.
Experts from Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India will be the resource persons. Interested farmers, entrepreneurs and youth who are willing to participate in the workshop are to contact the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (FFDA), Office of Director of Fisheries, Fish Dale Farm (Tel No. 0364-2521396) on or before January 9 for registration.
