KOHIMA: Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has called people of the state to join hands and strive for a peaceful existence and work together to uplift the Naga society.

Speaking at the inaugural programme of the Golden Jubilee celebration of Nagaland Christian Revival Church (NCRC) at Gariphema village under Kohima district on Tuesday, Mr Rio was also of the opinion that the Church is the only platform that can keep the Nagas united.

“Nagas are disunited. The only platform that can keep us united is the Christian platform,” Neiphiu Rio said and added that after Christianity, the percentage of education increased dramatically in the State.

”As Christians, we are a part of the world’s largest religion and urged the NCRC members to work harder for the people of Nagaland,” he added. (UNI)
