Curfew further relaxed in areas under Lumdiengjri PS in Shillong

SHILLONG: As the situation is improving to normalcy in Shillong, the District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills has issued an order  Under Section 144 CrPC  relaxing the curfew in areas falling under Lumdiengjri Police Station – Jaiaw, Mawkhar, Umsohsun, Riatsamthiah, Wahingdoh, Mission, Mawprem, Lumdiengjri, Lamavilla, Qualapatty, Wahthapbru, Sunny Hill, Cantonment, Mawlong Hat including Cantonment Beat House Areas (excluding localities beyond Umshyrpi bridge) for 19 (nineteen) hours from  June 30 with effect from 5.00 A.M. to 12.00 Midnight. The curfew will remain promulgated from 12.00 Midnight to 5:00 A.M. in those areas until further orders.

However, the relaxation of curfew in all the curfew-bound areas falling under Shillong Agglomeration will remain unchanged for nineteen  hours that is with effect from 5:00 A.M. to 12:00 Midnight and will be promulgated again with effect from 12:00 Midnight to 5:00 A. M. and until further order.

The order come into force with immediate effect and shall remain in force until further orders
