NONGSTOIN: Probhat Das (55) of Hajo village, Kamrup Assam, who was residing at Songsak Shallang in Mawshynrut Tehsil of West Khasi Hills, hanged himself on the body of a truck around 3 pm on Saturday.
The deceased was an alcoholic and a drug addict, the police said.
The body was handed over to his wife after the post mortem at Shallang Primary Health Centre (PHC).
