KHADC CEM P N Syiem resigns sans facing trial of strength

SHILLONG:  The Chief Executive Member (CEM) of Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC), P N Syiem tendered his resignation on Tuesday before facing the trial of strength during the emergent special session held at the council.

The Chairman of the KHADC, L G Nongsiej announced  that he received the resignation letter of the CEM with immediate effect in the morning.

The Chairman said the resignation letter would be forwarded to the Governor for acceptance and schedule for election of a new CEM.
