Balsa B Sangma, President, Mothers’ Union, Tura (WGH) lodged a complaint that Ginen M Marak has been a perpetrator of domestic violence for the last twenty years since his marriage to his wife.
Missing
Rosmi Boro lodged an FIR at Tyllap OP (EKH), that her husband Thomas Boro was found missing, since the March 2018.
Assault
On July 11 around 1.30 am, Bidian Lating assaulted Lucas Lating with an iron rod at his residence at Kharmalki, Malki, Shillong, causing injuries to him.
On July 10 at about 8 pm, Kisiar Rynjah assaulted Bashat Rynjah at Wahlyngai (EKH), causing injuries to him. The victim was shifted to PHC Laitlyngkot, where the attending MO declared him brought dead. Police arrested the accused.
On July 3 around 11.30 pm, Abbas Ali attacked Sanmati Lama and her son with a knife at Khliehriat West (EJH). As a result, the victims sustained injuries and were shifted to CH Jowai.
