NONGSTOIN: The West Khasi Hills Students’ Union, Nongstoin Circle has given two weeks’ time to the Engineer PWD (Road) Nongstoin to complete black topping of the road from Nondein to Civil Hospital, Nongstoin. The Union recently conducted an inspection of the road and found out that there is no improvement in the road condition despite an assurance by the Engineer PWD (Road) in October 2011.
The Union claimed that the road was vital for patients who go to the civil hospital for treatment.
