Bomb attack on MPSC office: Sketches of two suspects ready

SHILLONG: Police have come up with sketches of the two miscreants who lobbed the petrol bomb at MPSC secretary’s office based on the description of eye witnesses.
The special investigation team (SIT) has started working on the case.
East Khasi Hills SP Davis Marak said on Wednesday that nothing can be ruled as to whether the incident was personal, professional or linked to the recent unrest in the city.
Unidentified miscreants had lobbed a petrol bomb at the office of MPSC secretary WAM Booth on July 9.
However, the miscreants managed to escape.
Speaking to media persons, Marak said that the SIT comprises of an SP, Additional SP, an officer in charge and two other officers.
