Guv nod to EC list after CM’s approval

SHILLONG: The District Council Affairs (DCA) department is waiting for the return of Chief Minister Conrad Sangma from Delhi before forwarding the list of Executive Members (EMs) of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council to the Governor for his approval.
An official source informed that the chief minister has to sign the list before sending the same to the governor for his nod. Co-incidentally, DCA Minister James Sangma is also out of town.
The EMs whose names figure in the list are Antonio War, Donkupar Sumer and Rona Khymdeit (all from UDP), People’s Democratic Front MDCs James Sylliang, Blanding Warjri and Latiplang Kharkongor and NPP MDCs Jansing Tynsong and Victor Rani.
