4thEast Khasi Hills District Badminton C’ship concludes

SHILLONG: The East Khasi Hills District Badminton Association had successfully organized the 4th East Khasi Hills District Open Badminton Championship 2018 from July 26 to 28 at theJN Indoor Stadium Polo, Shillong. The tournament had generated immense enthusiasm among the players of the East Khasi Hills District with a total of 100 participants of different age categories. The intention of the tournament is to encourage budding new talents into the sport of Badminton. Shri Hamletson Dohling, Minister I/C Urban Affairs Government of Meghalaya graced the closing function as a Chief Guest. The Final matches on the 28th July 2018 started from 10:00 AM onwards which was followed by the Prize distribution Ceremony at 4:00 PM.
