SHILLONG: The organisations in East Jaintia Hills have demanded the setting up of another C & RD Block while allowing the existing Block to remain at Wapung Skur.
The East Jaintia National Conference and Hynniewtrep Achik National Movement (HANM) in a statement issued on Friday said the organisations have also placed a memorandum at the office of Chief Minister Conrad Sangma.
With regard to this, the organisations have met Khliehriat MLA and Social Welfare Minister Kyrmen Shylla who assured them help.
