Delay in distributing m-tabs

SHILLONG: Information and Technology Minister, Hamlet Dohling said the distribution of mobile tablets (M-Tabs) under the Student Digital Learning Aid Scheme is delayed as the government is looking for good quality tablets.
Speaking to reporters here on Tuesday, he said that the M-Tabs will be distributed to approximately 25, 000 students who are currently studying their class XII in Arts, Science and Commerce streams. The total sanction amounts to Rs 27-28 crores.
