M’laya shooters bag 15 Medals in 6th NE Zonal C’ships

SHILLONG: Meghalaya Shooting Association  bagged 15 Medals in the 6th North East Zone Shooting Championship 2018, in Aizawl, Mizoram held over a period of 8 days from August 6 to 13, 2018 in Aizawl. The NE Zonal Championship was attended by a total of 225 shooters from the Northeastern states. The total number of events conducted during the 6th NEZSC2018 was 52 Matches, the breakup is as:- 34 (NR) National Rules Matches &  18 Additional Matches in ISSF (International Shooting Sports Fedration).Shooting Association of Meghalaya shooters participated in 9 NR Matches and 4 (ISSF) additional Matches. The over all Team strength & Medal tally at the 6 NE Zone championship: Assam: 77- Medal 36; Mizoram : 64 – Medal 18; Manipur: 47- Medal 35; Nagaland: 6 -Medal 01; Meghalaya: 24- Medal 15; Services: 7 – Medal 07.
