SHILLONG: Anil Kumar, Joint Director of North Eastern Police Academy (Commandant CRPF) has been awarded the Police Medal for Meritorious Service on the occasion of Republic Day 2012.
Earlier, Anil Kumar was awarded the Police Medal for Gallantry, on the occasion of Republic Day 2010 in recognition of valour and courageous act in fighting against militants in Tengbal village in J&K.
Before joining NEPA on deputation, Anil Kumar (Commandant CRPF) has worked in Manipur, Nagaland, J&K, Punjab, UP and Delhi.
