SHILLONG: All is not well in KHNAM over the differences among party leaders over fielding candidates for KHADC polls.
The KHNAM’s working president and North Shillong legislator Adelbert Nongrum has demanded the resignation of party president Pyndapborlang Saibon in this regard, party sources said.
What irked Nongrum was that the election committee led by Saibon backed Rocky Hek to contest from Mawkhar-Pynthorumkhrah constituency and youth leader Thomas Passah from Jaiaw for the upcoming KHADC polls.
Nongrum, who held a meeting with the party workers, wanted Glenbert Khongwir to contest from Mawkhar-Pynthorumkhrah.
