1 killed, six injured in separate accidents

SHILLONG: On September 3, a night super bus driven by Md. Tajuddin accidentally ran over Bapon Das who was the helper of the bus at Umtyra, East Khasi Hills. The conductor sustained injuries and was taken to NEIGRIHMS, where he succumbed to his injuries on September 5.
On September 7, the driver of a mini bus sustained injuries and shifted to Guwahati after his vehicle collided with a truck at Malidor, NH-44.
Two persons sustained injuries when the vehicle they were travelling went head on collision with a 12-tyre truck at Shillong By-pass near Mawryngkneng on Monday morning. The injured persons were identified as 35-year-old Rabel Lashar and 45-year-old Sumitra Nath. Both the victims were taken to Shillong Civil Hospital.
In another incident, three persons received injuries when the motorcycles they were riding on collided with each other on Monday.
The injured persons Sabin R Marak, Sonali Marak and Panan Marak were shifted to Tikrikilla PHC by 108 Tikrikilla based ambulance.
Around 6.20 pm at Raksamgre, Sabin R Marak (58) along with Sonali R Marak (55) were heading home on their bicycle when another biker Panan Marak (24) came and hit them. All three of them sustained injuries and were shifted to Tikrikilla PHC by 108 Tikrikilla based ambulance.
