SHILLONG: The central election committee of the Khun Hynniewtrep National Awakening Movement (KHNAM) approved the name of Dimarsing Marbaniang as the 2019 district council candidate from Laitumkhrah constituency.
The KHNAM central executive committee — which includes president Pyndapborthiaw Saibon, general secretary Frewelson Marpna and chief publicity secretary James MA Neng — affirmed the decision of the party’s poll panel.
The regional party already approved president and vice president of youth wing, Thomas Passah and Rocky Hek, as candidates for Jaiaw and Mawkhar-Pynthorumkhrah constituencies, respectively.
