NONGPOH: As many as 25 youths have been selected for the grand finale of the Ri Bhoi Super Talent Show 2018 that will be held on October 20. The venue will be announced later.
The show aims to find local talents in the district and was organised by Rijied Khymdeit and Standwell Manih, the two emerging young singers from Ri Bhoi.
The semi-final was held recently at the auditorium of Umsning Town Dorbar. Altogether 40 youths were selected during the first audition.
Leaders like former Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council chief executive member, C B Syiem, Headman Rocky A Marwein, PDF Women Front Umsning Zone leader Aidalyne Syiemlieh and RAWA president, OB Ranee attended the event. A host of local filmmakers, singers and actors were also present at the semi-final.
Khasi actress Wanri Pyngrope, Justin I Sun and Standwell Manih were the judges at the show hosted by Rijied Khymdeit.
