WGH Police sensitised on MRVC

TURA: The District Police Officials of West Garo Hills were sensitized on Measles Rubella Vaccination Campaign (MRVC) today at Circuit House, Tura in the presence of West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner, Ram Singh, WGH District Medical and Health Officer, Dr M R Sangma and other officials from Medical Department.

The officials were briefed on the detail activities of nationwide Measles Rubella Vaccination Campaign going on in the district in order to eliminate Measles and control Rubella by 2020 by the Government of India. The sensitization was necessary in order to create awareness about the massive campaign and garner their support and cooperation with regard to the successful implementation of the Vaccination campaign in the district.
