Phukan Memorial College team meets CM

TURA: A delegation from Phukan Memorial College of Dalu led by local MLA Brening A Sangma call on Meghalaya Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma urging the MDA government to upgrade the college in the interest of students of the region.

The College authorities stated in their memorandum to the chief minister that they had been asked by the state education department to submit all necessary documents and financial data for selection as a Community College in August, last year, but was not selected by the previous government. The college authorities wants it to be upgraded since it caters to a huge student population from the border belt.
