SHILLONG: One D Wahlang has lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar Police Station stating that on December 26 last, he along with one Rahul and Bimal went to Nepal and bought one idol made of gold for Rs30 lakh. Wahlang in his complaint said that Rahul packed the idol for carrying it to Shillong.
However, on reaching Shillong on January 3, 2012 he found that the idol was not made of gold.
In another incident, on February 5 at around 11:30am, unknown miscreants stole one MP3 player and cash Rs270 from a vehicle (ML-05-F-5941) belonging to one Othilia Laloo whose car was parked at All Saints Cathedral Compound.
