 SHILLONG: All India Radio (AIR), Shillong ais holding a musical concert of Folk Songs “Ka Lympung Ki Sur Tynrai” on February 10 at U Soso Tham Auditorium at 4pm. Deputy Chief Minister BM Lanong will grace the concert as the Chief Guest.“The objective of this concert is to showcase the talents of AIR music artists and to encourage them and others to enrich and to uplift the standard of folk music. It also aims at preserving the rich music culture through recordings and documentations which AIR continues to do from time to time,” said RKD Budon, Programme Executive, AIR.

Renowned AIR artists will perform at the concert and entry to the concert is free. The concert is being organized by AIR, Shillong in collaboration with the Department of Arts & Culture, Meghalaya.
