Guv lauds dancers’ body

SHILLONG: The All Meghalaya Dancer’s Association (AMDA) felicitated Persons with disabilities (PWDs) who successfully passed their examinations at their Salaam India Season 2 programme on Saturday at U Soso Tham auditorium.
28 PWDs who completed their post graduation and professional courses were felicitated by Governor Tatagatha Roy, who was the chief guest of the occasion.
Out of the 28 PWDs, 6 are from a poor background.
Roy lauded the effort of AMDA for turning their eyes to the achievement of PWDs in the field of education.
